This segment we review Pilgrim's Way bestsellers for 2013 and look at what books will become movie motion pictures in 2014.  Included is a medley of book reviews offered by prior Simple Life Radio guests (Wendolyn Bird, Frank DeLuca, Linda Holiday, Chad Freeman, and Peter Shelling) as they describe their favorite book of all time and what they are doing now.

Justin's book "Fractures," tells his story of bullying, addiction, bi-polar, and gender issues.  He shares his personal journey with the extreme ups and downs; sometimes suicidal.  Through work with a trusted therapist and service to others, Justin is in a solid place in his life.  Working with teens therapeutically, he is happiest. 

After intensive training in Japan, Linda Holiday Sensei founded Aikido Santa Cruz in 1982.  Published this year, her book "Journey to the Heart of Aikido, the teachings of Motomichi Anno Sensei," she talks about her life experiences in Japan and her motivation for writing this book.

Cynthia is thrilled to be sitting down to talk to a personal and professional mentor of her's from Silicon Valley, Ray Calmes. He is big into supporting community, mentoring and has especially deep roots in family.
